My iPad who art in my hands,
Hallowed be thy screen.
Thy updates come.
Thy interface be done
on earth as it is in Cupertino.
Give us this day our daily bandwidth,
and forgive us our blog posts,
as we forgive those who blog against us,
and lead us not into netbooks,
but deliver us from Windows.
For thine is the wi-fi,
and the 3G, and the home button,
for ever and ever.

Halloween 2009: So, I'm out trick-or-treating with the kids and all seems normal. Clone troopers, galore. The one kid in a "Scream" costume who's parents forgot it wasn't 1997. Grown women wearing the corresponding "Foxy" version of their kid's costume.

Then, we turn the corner. A voice calls from above. We look up to discover that Michael Jackson's spirit is alive and well on the floor above the beauty parlor.

Notice that no one complains. Just laughs and upward-pointed cell phone cameras.

This is some sort of visual metaphor for my life...
